Role

Shareability is looking for a highly motivated Data Analyst who enjoys designing scalable analytics in order to tell a story, find trends, and identify actionable insights. This is a contract role directly servicing one of our biggest clients and a unique opportunity to integrate with a major global brand. The ideal candidate is self driven, a naturally curious person and a strong storyteller. For the analyst, BI is not just a series of reports and dashboards— you strive to provide a thoughtful analysis along with a visually impactful report.

This role will be designing analytics across various disciplines resulting in actionable recommendations ranging from influencer and social strategy, user behavior trends, campaign optimization, and marketplace research. It is essential to deliver quick data-driven insights while also having the ability to engineer dashboards and reports that are extensible and built to last.

The Ideal Candidate…

Will…

  • Work with social performance data (both organic and paid) to identify trends and offer actionable recommendations for optimizing performance

  • Contribute to client deliverables including deck slides, analysis summaries, and other presentation needs.

  • Proactively communicate with various strategy/creative/client teams for creating, modifying and fine-tuning KPIs/metrics/dimensions for existing, new and changing business needs

  • Identify trends, flag anomalies, and effectively communicate findings with key stakeholders

  • Create visually impactful, intuitive and focused dashboards and reports

  • Manage and fulfill requests for ad-hoc reporting

  • Explore new datasets and conduct marketplace research

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends in digital and social analytics and data collection

Is…

  • Able to present data to key stakeholders in a confident and effective manner that draws insights and leads to actionable recommendations

  • Detail-oriented and extremely well-organized with strong time-management skills

  • Ingrained in social platforms, including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Twitter and beyond.

  • A self-starter and has the ability to multitask and pivot quickly in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, especially when there are multiple projects and/or clients

  • An organized and professional creative who works well in a group setting and collaboratively across departments can also thrive with independent assignments.

  • Comfortable with SQL queries

Has…

  • A Bachelor’s degree (preferably in a business or quantitative field) and 5+ years of relevant professional experience

  • Experience in a fast-paced digital and/or entertainment environment is a plus

  • 3+ years working on Looker Studio and SQL databases

  • Strong Excel skills and the ability to manage and analyze large sets of data

  • Strong social analytics skills and analysis experience

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills both internally and with outside clients

  • Experience with BigQuery

  • Experience with Social Listening (Infegy, BrandWatch, Talkwalker, or others)

** The salary range is $110k annually to $135k annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications.
